How Does The Pathway Work?

Arc of Possibility is our partner organization. Together, we are creating a pathway from preparation to greater opportunity for Level 1 autistic young adults.

Step 3

JCATF Support

Our partner organization, Arc of Possibility LLC, offers an 8-week independent life-skills program covering areas like cooking, laundry and home management, financial literacy, employment readiness, social skills and transportation.

Completing the program marks a milestone and opens the door to the next step toward adult independence.

JCATF focuses on charitable support, scholarships, transitional resources, and the future development of the Autism Transitional Living Community.

Autism Transitional Living Community

JCATF is building toward the Autism Transitional Living Community: a future community where Level 1 autistic young adults can practice independence in a supportive environment.

This is a long-term, Phase 2 goal and is not yet operating. JCATF is working toward the partnerships, funding, organizational readiness, community support, and infrastructure needed to develop it.

What We Envision

Home & Living

Transitional housing and a mock-home environment where young adults can practice cooking, household management and daily routines.

Community & Connection

A supportive community with social and recreational activities, transportation, and everyday community participation.

Pathways To Independence

Connections to education, employment and community partners, creating a pathway from training into greater independence.

Help Us Build The Community

Funds set aside for the community are a long-term capital and development goal. We hope to become eligible for public and private opportunities, including property or development opportunities, that could support the future community.
